Who are we?
Wear & TearEcoWear by wearandtear and Sail and Clean are quality trademarks registered by Nonwovens Technical Trust, S.L. (NTT) We are MANUFACTURERS of disposable items since 1996.
The versatility of our products allows its use in very diverse and different sectors such as Beauty, Hairdressing, Horeca, Industry, Health, Pets, Recreational boating, Camping ... and in general any sector that needs clothing or accessories for single use and / or protection.
From the selection of raw materials to the final labeling, we follow exhaustive quality controls, which guarantee that our products strictly comply with all hygiene standards and with the highest quality and design standards that have accompanied us from day one.
Part of who we are is our concern and awareness for sustainability, which has become an essential part of the company's strategy in order to be able to face the challenges of the future. We work daily towards a model as sustainable as possible based on economic growth, care for the environment and social welfare. The result of this awareness is our commitment to biodegradable fabrics of botanical origin and our tireless search to discover new alternatives that are more and more friendly to the Planet.
Our concept of "use and throw away" is within the USE, RINSE AND REUSE. This is achieved only by using quality fabrics and fabrics that protect and support the environment.
Our History
NTT began in 1996 with its brand name Wear & Tearbeing one of the pioneers in the field of disposable products for the beauty, esthetics and hairdressing sector. Since then, we have been manufacturing both products that require packaging (gowns, thongs, fitted sheets...) and products that do not require it (towels, sizes, mats...).
For years we have fought to maintain both the manufacture and supply of raw materials in Spain. Thanks to that effort and the great support and loyalty of all our customers. Being in the centre of Spain provides us with the necessary proximity to offer agility and flexibility to our customers, thus avoiding stock-outs. Our state-of-the-art machinery allows us to carry out everything from small productions to large volume orders , all of them customized in formats of presentation, finishing, printing of the client's brand...
Our concern for the environment leads us to a constant search for materials that allow us to take care of our planet. Hence our commitment to 100% biodegradable materials as a first step to continue finding new alternatives for materials that are increasingly competitive and sustainable. For all these reasons, we have made our motto "Feel the Softness, Embrace the Planet"

Our company's mission is the fundamental reason for our existence, and it is focused on manufacturing high quality disposable items to improve people's lives and, at the same time, we strive to minimize our environmental impact. We work daily to maintain and care as the first day, both the quality of our products and customer service, making it our standard. To this we add our desire to bequeath to future generations an environment at least as prosperous as the one we inherited, avoiding its deterioration and, if possible, contributing to improve it.

Use of Nonwoven | Nonwoven fabrics
The different fabrics covered under the Nonwoven denomination have specific characteristics that allow them to deliver high performance across a wide range of applications. Their specific functions are: absorbency, liquid repellency, strength, elasticity, softness, flame retardancy, washability, cushioning, filtering, bacterial barrier and sterility .
These properties are often combined to create fabrics suitable for specific jobs, thereby achieving a good balance between product utilization, product life and cost. They can mimic the appearance, texture and strength of a woven fabric and can be as bulky as the thickest cushioned fabrics.
Our Main Raw Materials
SMS
It is a non-woven fabric with three layers whose main properties are:
- Soft touch,
- High breaking strength
- High elongation
- High opacity
- Does not allow hair or fluids to pass through
- Microbial barrier
- Fully antistatic
- Does not mildew
Air Laid
100% wood pulp fiber from sustainable farms as raw material using air instead of water to process the cellulose fibers.
They have the feel of real linen with the ability to be reused up to 9 times before disposal. They can absorb up to 7 times their weight with extraordinary resistance, even when wet.
Our Airlaid fabric absorbs like a sponge and is as strong as fabric.
