Carbon Footprint and Sustainability
Working for a better world,
we are responsible,
we are sustainable.
Carbon Footprint
Our commitment to the environment was the main reason for starting our activity in 1996, since single-use material meant savings in water and energy, as well as a significant reduction in the use of polluting detergents.
In 2007 we launched a "Solar Garden"(Solar Panels for the production of electric energy), with a production capacity of 58 KW/h. With this "little big gesture", after ten years, we had generated 930,000 KW, that is, 50% more than all the electricity we have consumed in 25 years.
Since January 2017, all electric electrical energy we consume is from greenproduced by renewable energies (waterfall, photovoltaic solar energy or wind energy).
Today we continue to research, search and bet on more environmentally friendly materials: We continue to bet on our Mother Earth.
Sustainable Packaging Program (Sustainable Packaging Progamme)
NTT is committed to reducing the environmental impact of its products through the implementation of sustainable packaging. To this end, it will give priority to packaging made from recycled paper or recycled plastic, thus minimizing the impact on the environment.
Sustainability
Our concern and awareness for Sustainability has become an essential factor in the company's strategy in order to be able to face the challenges of the future. We work daily towards a model as sustainable as possible based on economic growth, care for the environment and social welfare. We work every day to promote care for the planet through small, big acts:
- Certifications: The biodegradability of our environmentally friendly fabrics is guaranteed by their corresponding certificates.
- Sustainable Product Development: Researching and developing biodegradable and environmentally friendly products, actively promoting their adoption.
- Waste management: With an efficient waste management program to minimize waste and promote recycling. Before classifying production waste as waste, a review is made and everything that could have a second life (packaging, leftover fabrics, etc.) is either returned to the first production line or is given a second life by being donated for the use of our personnel, such as towels, cloths, etc.
- Energy Efficiency: we are committed to creating an assessment of energy efficiency at all stages of production and working to reduce energy consumption by adapting factory schedules to achieve such efficiency.
- Sensitization and Training: Raising awareness and sensitizing our employees on sustainable practices, as well as the importance of sustainability in all operations.
- Sustainable Partnerships: We ask our collaborators/suppliers to share our commitment to sustainability.
- Transparent Communication: Informing our customers about our sustainability initiatives and how they are contributing to a greener world.
